OVERVIEW
Moray Golf Club offers not one but two world class links golf courses with beautiful views over the Moray Firth.
Where else could you follow in the footsteps of Old Tom Morris and Henry Cotton in the same day? The old course is considered to be one of the finest links courses in Scotland. A classic links designed by Old Tom Morris with deep revetted bunkers, undulating gorse lined fairways and smooth fast greens.
It is a superb test of golf with seven par fours over 400 yards. Moray Golf Club is truly one of Scotland's gems. It is a fitting tribute to the artistry of Old Tom Morris and Henry Cotton. The stunning land and seascape makes it a must for golfers visiting the area.
Perhaps the region’s most well-known course. Moray Golf Course boasts two classic 18-hole links courses, each offering a distinct golfing experience. The Old course, designed by old Tom Morris, has played host to a long line of Amateur and Professional tournaments since 1901 but the Moray Open and Club Championship are the pinnacle of each year for golfers in the region. The signature 18th hole, playing to the arena of the final green and the imposing club house, was recently merited “second finest finishing hole in the country,” by VisitScotland.
The Moray New links carries the stamp of Henry Cotton. The signature 10th hole runs along West beach toward the lighthouse, playing to a green hewn from the dunes, and not a single bunker in sight.
After your round why not enjoy a dram of the club's very own clubhouse malt in convivial surroundings. You can even take a bottle of home to remind you of your visit to Moray Golf Club.
